Bangka Steam Power Plant Ready for 100% Reliability, Appreciation and Working Visit by PLN Nusantara Power’s President Director
On August 11, 2025, at the Bangka Steam Power Plant (PLTU Bangka), PLN Nusantara Power’s President Director, Mr. Ruly Firmansyah, accompanied by PLN Nusantara Power’s Director of Coal Operations, Mr. M. Irwansyah Putra, conducted a working visit to the Bangka Steam Power Plant (PLTU Bangka) to inspect the plant’s operational readiness.
The visit, which began with a site visit, was welcomed by the President Director of PLN NP Services, Mr. Jakfar Sadiq; the Director of O&M, Mr. Maryono; and the Unit Manager of the Bangka Steam Power Plant (PLTU Bangka), Mr. I Gusti Ngurah Putra Astawa. The PLN NP President Director expressed his appreciation for PLN NP Services’ performance, which achieved 105.55%, increasing the EAF (Efficiency of Electricity) of the Bangka Steam Power Plant (PLTU Bangka) from 74.58% (2022) to 89.29% (July 2025).
He emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum, strengthening internal synergy and coordination with the head office and PLN NP, improving asset management-based governance, strengthening stakeholder relationships, considering the Bangka Coal-Fired Power Plant’s 17.79% contribution to the Bangka System, optimizing the co-firing program and biomass supply, and instilling a culture of occupational safety as a core value.
